Set within the elegant Jennings Barn, the restaurant opens to sweeping views of the kitchen gardens, lush meadow, and dramatic thousand-foot granite box canyon. Located within the Lonesome Valley Residential Community yet open to the public, Canyon Kitchen is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful restaurant settings in the southeast. Reservations are required for both our Dining Room and Bar Pavilion to ensure an exceptional and enjoyable guest experience.

Under the direction of Executive Chef Ed Selle, our kitchen celebrates refined Appalachian cuisine elevated through thoughtful technique and inspired creativity. Seasonal, locally sourced ingredients inspire a menu of artfully prepared small plates, elegant entrées, and decadent desserts. As the scenery shifts with the seasons, signature cocktails echo those changes, offering a dining experience that is as visually stunning as it is exquisitely crafted- where exceptional food and natural beauty exist in perfect harmony.

Families Dining with Children: Families are warmly welcomed. We ask that children arrive dressed for the occasion and, after your party is seated, remain at the table and be considerate of others. For everyone’s comfort and safety, children should not be in the Pavilion Bar area.

Pets in Dining Areas: We love our four-legged friends; however, dogs are not permitted in the restaurant, pavilion, or the surrounding areas.

Dress Code:
Canyon Kitchen Dining Room and Pavilion: Our unique mountain setting offers a beautiful, relaxed, and refined dining experience. We kindly ask guests, adults and children alike, to join us in attire that reflects the occasion. While jackets are not required, we appreciate thoughtful clothing choices that complement the elevated nature of your evening with us. Not Permitted: Athletic wear, overly casual shorts, tank tops, ball caps, and beach flip flops

Corkage Policy: $40 per 750ml

Arrival Time: We recommend that all parties arrive 20 minutes before their reservation if they plan to have a beverage outside.

Service Charges: 20% service charge is added automatically to each check to be distributed amongst our staff.

Splitting Checks: We will gladly split checks up to three equal ways.

Cancellation Policy: $25 per person charge for cancellations within 24 hours.
