We are thrilled to announce that our Executive Chef, John Fleer, has once again been recognized by the prestigious James Beard Foundation as a semi-finalist for the 2015 Best Chef: Southeast award. John has had a long standing relationship with the James Beard Foundation. He was named “Rising Star of the 21st Century” in 1999 when he was at Blackberry Farm. He has been a semi-finalist for Best Chef: Southeast four times, with three of those occasions resulting in a nominee recognition. His last nomination was in 2012. We are thrilled for John and are crossing our fingers that this year will be his year. We hope you will too.
